friscotxwaterdamage.com is a marketing website for a referral service. We are not a contractor and we don't run our own crews. When you call a number on this site or send a form, your request is passed to an independent local water damage restoration company that serves your area. That company contacts you, inspects the property, gives you its own estimate and, if you hire it, does the work.
Calls to this site may be routed through a call-tracking and referral network to reach a contractor who is available for your area.
How we are paid
Our service is free to you. The company you are connected with, or the referral network it belongs to, may pay us a fee for the referral. That fee does not change the price the contractor quotes you.
What this means for you
- The contractor is an independent business, not our employee or agent. Your agreement for any work is with that company.
- Get a written estimate and scope before work starts, and ask what is mitigation and what is repair.
- Texas has no state licence for water damage restoration companies, so check insurance and references. Mold remediators must hold a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation licence (tdlr.texas.gov) and plumbers a Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners licence (tsbpe.texas.gov). Ask any contractor for proof of insurance.
- You are never obliged to hire the company you are connected with.
